metres in a generally southerly direction
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods, in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and
delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated by
or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera
Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring or

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of
the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not
within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act
or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with
in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from the
20th day of May 2026 apply to the High Court for this

Notice is hereby given that on the 20th day of May 2026 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the provisions
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the
4th day of June 2026 will be to introduce a no waiting at any
time restriction on the following roads:
Larch Drive, Armthorpe
Both sides
From the junction with Mill Street for a distance of 10 metres
in a general northernly direction.
Mill Street
West side.
From a point 10 metres west of its intersection with the
extended west kerb-line of Larch Drive, for a distance of 25
metres in a general easternly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of

LOW LEVELS BANK HATFIELD DONCASTER
INTRODUCTION OF 30MPH AND 40MPH SPEED
LIMITS
TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS
AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will
be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding the 30mph and
40mh speed limits in those lengths of Low Levels Bank at
Hatfield in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst investigation and repair works for
carriageway defects are undertaken
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 1st day of June 2027 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been
completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not
completed within the stated time the Order may be continued
in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for

east of its junction with Crow Tree Bank in an easterly
direction for a distance of 200 metres
2. Introduce a 30 mph temporary speed limit at a point 750m
east of its junction with Crow Tree Bank in an easterly
direction for a distance of 600 metres
Low Levels Bank, Hatfield Westbound direction
3. Introduce a 40 mph temporary speed limit at a point 1550m
east of its junction with Crow Tree Bank in a westerly
direction for a distance of 200 metres
4. Introduce a 30 mph temporary speed limit at a point 1350m
east of its junction with Crow Tree Bank in a westerly
direction for a distance of 600 metres
