proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will
be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in that
section of road that comprises of the railway level crossing
area on Marshlands Road/Moorends Road at Thorne in the
City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this
notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for uplift for PL tamper are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Moorends Road, North
Common Road, Selby Road, Selby Road M18 Roundabout,
Fieldside, Field Road, King Edward Road, Marshland Road
and vice versa.
