RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Cwm Ogwr, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), wedi creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno’r cyfyngiadau dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd nad yw’r lôn gerbydau yn ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod gwaith ar bolion ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 20/05/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am hyd at 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 08:00 a 17:00 ar 21/05/2026.
Atodlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd tua 30 metr o Dimbath Lane ger Tŷ Lotus. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Dimbath Lane, yr A4093, Dimbath Avenue, Dimbath Lane, ac i'r gwrthwyneb.
Ni ellir rhoi mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu na’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau.
Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau.
Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(OGMORE VALLEY, DIMBATH LANE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Ogmore Valley in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is necessary due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during polling works and is in the interest of public safety.
The Order will come into force on the 20/05/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on 21/05/2026.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed approximately 30 meters of Dimbath Lane near Ty Lotus. The alternative route for vehicles is via Dimbath Lane, A4093, Dimbath Avenue, Dimbath Lane, and vice versa.
Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
