TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
THE BIG LUNCH, BEDFORD 2026 – 0508
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along those lengths of various roads in Bedford Borough. These temporary road closures are required to facilitate The Big Lunch and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
These temporary road closures are expected to be in operation Friday 5th to Monday 8th June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5th, 6th 7th, and 8th June for a period of one day each. For further information please contact Bedford Borough Council Tel: 01234 718003.
