(ROYAL GEORGE STREET, OLD CHAPEL STREET, AND MOSELEY STREET, EDGELEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND RESTRICTION OF LOADING AND UNLOADING) (REVOCATION) NOTICE 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time at Royal George Street north east side, from its junction with Greek Street, for a distance of approximately 15 metres in a south easterly direction. Old Chapel Street (Both Sides and Cul De Sac End) from a point 64 metres north east from the projected north eastern kerbline of York Street in a north easterly direction for approximately 22 metres, northerly direction for approximately 6 metres, and a south westerly direction for approximately 22 metres. Moseley Street (Both Sides and Cul De Sac End) from a point 4 metres north east from the projected boundary between 2 and 2a Moseley Street in a north easterly direction for approximately 8 metres metres, northerly direction for approximately 7 metres, and a south westerly direction for approximately 8 metres. No Loading at any Time: Moseley Street (Both Sides and Cul De Sac End) from a point 4 metres north east from the projected boundary between 2 and 2a Moseley Street in a north easterly direction for approximately 8 metres, northerly direction for approximately 7 metres, and a south westerly direction for approximately 8 metres. No Loading or Unloading Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm at Royal George Street north east side, from its junction with Greek Street, for a distance of approximately 15 metres in a south easterly direction. Revoke No Waiting at any Time: Moseley Street (Both Sides) from a point 4 metres north east from the projected boundary between 2 and 2a Moseley Street in a north easterly direction to its junction with Shaw Heath. Royal George Street north east side, from its junction with Greek Street, for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a south easterly direction. Old Chapel Street, south east Side and Cul De Sac End; From a point 80 metres north east of the eastern kerbline of York Street for a distance of 4 metres in a north easterly direction and then 9 metres in a north westerly direction and then 4 metres in a south westerly direction. Revoke No loading or Unloading 8.00am to 6.00pm: Royal George Street north east side, from its junction with Greek Street, for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a south easterly direction. Revoke On-street Pay and Display Parking Places (max 3 hours, Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm): Royal George Street, north east side from a point approximately 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Greek Street for a distance of approximately 5 metres in a south easterly direction.
