Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for repairs to a defective reinstatement and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th June 2026 to 18th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Roche. This prohibition is necessary for verge reinstatement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd June 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for works to resurface footpath and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st June 2026 to 19th June 2026.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 23rd March 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Mountbatten Close, Newquay for its entire length. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 23rd March 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Road subject to stopping prohibition - Mountbatten Close, Newquay for its entire length. The Order which commenced on the 7th April 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 29th May 2026.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to install new drainage line. Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained. Blue badge holders are not exempt from this prohibition. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th June 2026 to 20th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekends included.
