The Borough Council of Sandwell (High Haden Road, Cradley Heath) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding via High Haden Road – the length of High Haden located between No’s 22 & 24 which proceeds in a southerly direction. No diversion route will be signed as this length of High Haden Road is a cul-de sac. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 27/05/2026, effective from 25/05/2026 (8:30am-5pm only). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Upper Church Lane and Lichfield Street, Tipton) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Upper Church Lane, which will be closed at the junction of Lichfield Street (northern to southern side) & Lichfield Street, which will be closed at the junction of Upper Church Lane. Access to any affected frontages within both road closures will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A traffic diversion route for the Upper Church Lane closure will be signed via High Street, Wednesbury Oak Road, Gospel Oak Road, Horseley Road, Alexandra Road & vice versa. A traffic diversion route for access to Lichfield Street will be signed via St Johns Road. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to commence and be completed by 24/05/2026 (9:30am-3:30pm). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Lewisham Street, West Bromwich) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Lewisham Street, which will be closed from the junction of Hallam Street to the access road (eastern side) for Sandwell General Hospital. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained but only when safety permits. A traffic diversion route will be signed via Hallam Street, St Clements Lane & vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by
28/05/2026, effective from 26/05/2026 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access for water service works by Onsite on behalf of South Staffs Water.
