What is happening?
M25 MOTORWAY – JUNCTION 15 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the M25 Motorway in the Unitary Authorities of Slough and Buckinghamshire Council under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closure of both carriageways of the M25 between the exit and entry links at Junction 15 (M4 Junction 4B).
These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake bridge deck and carriageway repairs, and all associated works.
It is expected that the work would last for approximately 7 months starting on or after Saturday 13th June 2026 in separate phases June-July for preparatory works and September-December for the main works The overnight closures will take place between the following hours (maximum periods) -
Mondays – Thursdays 22:00 – 05:30
Fridays 23:00 – 06:00
Saturdays 20:00 – 10:00
Sundays 22:30 – 05:30
The Order would come into force on 11th June 2026 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete. Please visit National Highways website for closure details.
Traffic affected by the closures would be diverted in either direction on the M4 to Junction 4 (Heathrow Spur) or Junction 5 (A4) and return.
The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
