THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (STOCKPORT ROAD, MARPLE) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING EXCEPT FOR COACHES) (LIMITED WAITING) (REVOCATION) NOTICE 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting (Except Coaches) Monday to Friday 9.00am to 3.00pm, and Limited Waiting Monday to Friday 3.00pm to 6.00pm, and Saturday 8.00am to 6.00pm, 60 Mins No Return 60 Mins at Stockport Road (North Side) from a point 6.5 metres north east from the intersection of the extension of the south western kerbline of Queen Street for a distance of 49.5 metres in a north easterly direction. Revoke Limited Waiting 1 Hour Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 6.00pm 60 minutes No Return 60 minutes at Stockport Road (North Side) from a point 0.5 metres north east of the intersection of the extension of the south western kerbline of Queen Street for a distance of 55 metres in a north easterly direction.
