Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council propose to make an order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the order is to amend the North Somerset Council (Moving Traffic Prohibitions and Restrictions, North Somerset Consolidation Order 2024 to include the introduction of a new bus gate between A368 Dinghurst Road and A38 Bristol Road, Churchill allowing all buses to proceed through this area and also a left turn only restriction on exiting Jews Lane onto Bath Road. The current one-way restriction on Bath Road, close to the Churchill junction, will be removed and weight limit restrictions will be altered to accommodate the new road layout. The extent of the proposal is described in the Schedule to this Notice. Schedule (Part 3: Moving Restrictions) Bus only route: Dinghurst Road - creation of Bus Gate between A368 Dinghurst Road and A38 Bristol Road, Churchill (plan reference: CHJ-TRO-001). Left turn only: Jews Lane - left turn only onto Bath Road before entering the roundabout (plan reference: CHJ-TRO-001). Revocation of One Way: Bath Road - revocation of the one-way restriction on the western end of Bath Road next to A38 Bristol Road (plan reference: CHJ-TRO-002). Revocation of Weight Restrictions on a 7.5 Tonne Limit: Bath Road (eastbound) - revocation of the weight restrictions on the western end of Bath Road from its junction with A38 Bristol Road for approximately 23m (plan reference: CHJ-TRO-002). Bath Road (westbound) - revocation of the weight restrictions on the western end of Bath Road from its junction with A38 Bristol Road for approximately 36m (plan reference: CHJ-TRO-002).

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council propose to make an order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of which will be to amend the North Somerset Council (Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2022 to include amendments to parking restrictions (yellow lines and laybys) on Weston Road and Loveling Gardens, Long Ashton, North Somerset. The extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule to this notice. Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Beach Hill, Portishead, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

Date coming into Force: 25 August 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace a pole. This order will become operative on the 25 August 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

Date Coming Into Force: 10 August 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit premises which may be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for heavy cable recovery work. This order will become operative on the 10 August 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 4 days in duration between 9pm and 6am in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid for pole changes. This order will become operative on the 1 June 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
