(ELLIS ROAD, CROWTHORNE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:
a) Any vehicle from traveling along Ellis Road, Crowthorne between Old Wokingham Road and Lyon Road.
The alternative route for this closure is Ellis Road, New Wokingham Road, B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Old Wokingham Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 8th June 2026, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from the 09:30 until 15:30 on 8th June 2026.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
