(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND CLEARWAY) ORDER 2026
NORTH ROAD WEST BACK, DARLINGTON
Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
- No stopping at any time (clearway); and
- the prohibition of the driving of vehicles on
NORTH ROAD WEST BACK
From the north side of Lansdowne Street northwards to its junction with Zetland Street
The Order is necessary to allow road surfacing work.
An alternative route will be signed via Lansdowne Street, North Road, Zetland Street and vice versa.
The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 1st June 2026. It is anticipated that it will be effective for 2 weeks.
