SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: Section 14 - Temporary Closure Of Part Of The B1115 Humble Green, Little Waldingfield
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1115 Humble Green, Little Waldingfield from Bells Drift for 320 metres westbound to facilitate overhead cabling and tree cutting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be: B1115, the A134, the A1071, the B1115 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/05/2026 - 31/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure Of Part Of The C938 Beccles Road, Redisham
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C938 Beccles Road, Redisham from 334 metres north of the junction with Redisham Corner for 30 metres northbound to facilitate access and egress for large vehicles for works in private land. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be: Beccles Road, Redisham Corner, Halesworth Road, Hog Lane, the A144 Halesworth Road, Top Road, Ringsfield Road, School Road, Redisham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on the following dates:
21/05/2026 from 8:00am – 6:00pm
19/06/2026 from 8:00am – 6:00pm
23/06/2026 from 8:00am – 6:00pm.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure Of Part Of The U8903 Hook Lane, Hadleigh
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8903 Hook Lane, Hadleigh from Harvest House for 40 metres northbound to facilitate electrical works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be: Hook Lane, Station Road, the B1070, Hook Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 30/05/2026 from 8:30am – 3:00pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure Of Part Of The A1308 Tot Hill, Haughley
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1308 Tot Hill, Haughley from the on and off slip roads at junction 49 for 90 metres north eastbound to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be: the A14 from Cedars roundabout to Church Road, the A14 with no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/05/2026 - 01/06/2026 from 8:00pm to 6:00am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council (District Of Forest Heath) (Exning) (Burwell Road) (B1103) - (30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 202-
Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order for the District of Forest Heath under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which would be to introduce a 30mph speed limit to Burwell Road (B1103) to extend the existing 30mph speed limit along this road.

The speed limit extension will apply to both sides of Burwell Road (B1103) and will start from a point 73 metres west of the last street- light column on Burwell Road and will extend in a westerly direction for distance of 130 metres.

Copies of the draft order, map showing the roads affected and the Council’s reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday - Friday; also at Newmarket Library: Monday:Closed, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm; Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm.

Objections and any other representations relating to these proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must reach Suffolk County Council Legal Services at the address below or at: rhea.philip@suffolk.gov.uk, no later than 11/06/2026.
