What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - LOWER LINK B3048, ST MARY BOURNE, BASINGSTOKE & DEANE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Lower Link B3048 between its junction with a point adjacent to no.2 and its junction with a point approximately 200 meters south thereof
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lower Link, Stoke Lane, Harroway, B3048 Stoke Lane, B3400 London Road, Churchill Way, A343 Newbury Road, B3048 Church Street, B3048 Stoke Road, B3048 Stoke Lane, High Street, Church Street, Upper Link, Lower Link
DURATION OF ORDER: from 3rd June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working 09:30-15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out pole works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
