TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENT
On 11 May 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to proceed on foot (with the exception of persons engaged on Footpath Resurfacing) on Abbotsford Place and Abbotsford Road Cumbernauld from Number 1 Abbotsford Place to Number 95 Abbotsford Road by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
The Order, which will only be operational when displayed by signs, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Thursday, 28 May 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 26 June 2026.
