RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Lwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Rhif 18 yng nghymuned Dolbenmaen o bwynt A (Cyfeirnod Grid Arolwg Ordnans SH 48797, 43415) sydd wedi ei leoli ar Ffordd yr A487 gyferbyn â Bryn Efail Uchaf, gan ddilyn mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol cyffredinol am bellter o oddeutu 947 metr i bwynt B (Cyf. Grid AO SH 48171, 42791) sydd wedi ei leoli ger Bryn ‘Refail Isaf. 

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith adeiladu is-orsaf trydan.

Yn anffodus, nid oes llwybr amgen addas ar gael.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 15fed o Fehefin 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na chwe mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y llwybr, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. 

Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua chwe mis. Os na chwblheir y gwaith o fewn chwe mis gellir ymestyn y Gorchymyn am gyfnod pellach o chwe mis gyda chaniatâd Llywodraeth Cymru.

THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.18 IN THE COMMUNITY OF DOLBENMAEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding in either direction along that length of Public Footpath No.18 in the Community of Dolbenmaen from point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference SH 48797, 43415), located on the A487 road opposite Bryn Efail Uchaf, following a generally south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 947 metres to point B (OS Grid Ref. SH 48171, 42791), which is located near Bryn ’Refail Isaf.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during works to construct an electrical substation.

Unfortunately, there is no suitable alternative route.

The Order comes into effect on the 15th June, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the path is completed, whichever is the earlier.

If the work is not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a further period of six months with the approval of the Welsh Government. 

At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately six months.
