Appeal by Mr R Jones relating to Planning Application P25/00144/F for the change of use of land to gypsy and traveller caravan site to facilitate the stationing of 3no. mobile homes, 2no. touring caravans, erection of 1no. dayroom and 1no. utility block and associated works (retrospective) at Land At Northwick Road, Pilning, South Gloucestershire. An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for the Department for Communities and Local Government under paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 6 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will attend at the place, date and time shown above to decide the appeal.

Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15 DEPARTURE FROM DEVELOPMENT PLAN Proposed developments at Land North Of Oldbury Lane, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, BS35 1LB. I give notice that Hill Residential Limited & The Landowners has applied to South Gloucestershire Council for Outline planning application for the demolition of existing buildings/structures and severable, phased development of up to 350 dwellings including potential for later living/care accommodation (Use Classes C2 and C3), a flexible community hub (non-residential uses to include Use Classes E and F2), publicly accessible open space, land to deliver renewable energy generation, landscaping and biodiversity enhancements, and associated infrastructure and engineering works including footpaths/cycleways and SUDs. 

All matters reserved except for access from Oldbury Lane. (application reference no. P25/02677/O). The proposed development, does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force for the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.

Please note that the law requires that any comments received on a planning application are made publicly available. 

In the event that an appeal is made against the decision of the Council to refuse to grant planning permission for the proposed development, and that appeal then proceeds by way of the expedited procedure under the written representations procedure, any representations made to the council about this application will be passed to the Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to make further representations.
