LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(SLEAFORD – GRANTHAM ROAD)

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) AMENDMENT ORDER 2026 PUFFIN CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lincolnshire County Council propose to make an Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to revoke and propose the following:

–  A  new puffin crossing 30 metres west from the centre of its junction with London Road

–  Revoke the existing ‘Limited waiting 8am-6pm 30 minutes no return within 30 minutes’ to the right of 1A Grantham Road when facing north

–  Revoke a small section of the existing ‘No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-6pm’ outside the Spar opposite numbers 3, 5 and 7  Grantham Road.

–  Introduce a ‘No waiting at any time’ restriction outside number 1A Grantham Road

–  Introduce a ‘No waiting at any time’ restriction outside The Spar opposite numbers 3, 5 and 7 Grantham Road

Exemptions are included which will permit waiting for disabled persons’ vehicles and for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers, loading or unloading of goods, the maintenance of the roads, and works in connection with the supply of gas, electricity, water and telecommunications apparatus.
