(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On the 19 May 2026 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on a section of Woodilee Road, between its junctions with McGavigans Road, Lenzie, and its junction with Loch Road, Kirkintilloch, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday 31 May 2026 until 23.59 hours on Sunday 7 June 2026.
Alternative Routes
The alternative routes will be by way of Loch Road, the B8048 Waterside Road, the A806 Initiative Road, Kirkintilloch and McGavigans Road, Lenzie, and these routes will be sign posted.
