What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE- NEWLANDS LANE, SOUTHWICK & WIDLEY, WINCHESTER, PURBROOK LADIES 5 ROAD RACE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Purbrook Ladies 5 Road Race to take place out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Newlands Lane between its junction with Purbrook Heath Road and its junction with Sheepwash Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 7th June 2026 between the hours 09:20 - 09:45 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.
The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Purbrook Ladies 5 Road Race.
