Temporary Closure of Fishers Lane, Fosse Way and Hollow Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Fishers Lane - from the junction with Kingstone Road to the junction with Fosse Way; Fosse Way - from the junction with Fishers Lane to the junction with Hollow Lane; Hollow Lane - from the junction with Fosse Way to the junction with Brimclose Lane and Fosse Way - from the junction with Brimclose Lane, north-eastwards for a distance of 166 metres.

A total distance of 1042 metres. This Order will enable Heidelberg to carry out prep and resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 20th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th May 2026 and last until 11th June 2026 between the hours of 07:30 - 18:00 for a total of 14 days.
