Temporary Closure of Lordsleaze Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Lordsleaze Lane - from 16 metres north-east of the junction with Blind Lane, north-eastwards for a total distance of 46 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement works.

The Order becomes effective on 20th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th May 2026 and last until 26th May 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours. There is no alternative route for this closure.

The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements.
