(PROHIBITION OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES OVER 7.5T) (GREAT CENTRAL ROAD, LOUGHBOROUGH IN THE BOROUGH OF CHARNWOOD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2 (1), 2(4),3(2), 4 and 5 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be: to impose a 7.5T Weight Restriction on part of Great Central Road, Loughborough. The Order will come into force on the twenty-fifth day of May 2026. A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
