THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (UNNAMED ACCESS ROAD OFF LOWMOOR ROAD, SUTTON IN ASHFIELD) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) RESTRICTED ROAD ORDER 2026 (4329)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Sutton in Ashfield in the District of Ashfield in the County of Nottinghamshire.
1. The length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order shall be a Restricted Road (30mph) for the purposes of Section 81 of the Act.

UNNAMED ACCESS ROAD OFF LOWMOOR ROAD, SUTTON IN ASHFIELD
From its junction with Lowmoor Road, Sutton in Ashfield in a south-easterly direction to its south-eastern extremity.

(a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP.
(b) Sutton in Ashfield Library, Idlewells Shopping Centre, Forest Street, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17 1BP

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 17th June 2026. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.

The proposed 30mph speed limit is required in order to fulfil a S278 agreement and make the speed limit more appropriate following the construction of a new development.
