SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
CRUDHALL LANE, BIELBY
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding
along Crudhall Lane, Bielby commencing 1 June 2026
between 09.30 hours until 15.30 hours to allow
works for a Bridge Assesment and other investigation
works at Crudhall Bridge and Crudhall Lane, Bielby.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring
the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
completed within five days. The alternative route for
traffic affected by the road closure will be via York Road
and Bielby Lane, Pocklington CP, Hayton CP, Bielby CP,
Pocklington Provincial Ward, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but
access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
