What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL

(Market Place, Barton-upon-Humber) (Saturday Market)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council, being satisfied that the provisions set out in Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 apply, proposes to make an Order under that Section on the occasion of a Saturday Market in Barton-uponHumber on the first Saturday of every month from 6th June 2026-2nd Oct 2027 inclusive but excluding 2nd Jan 2027. 

The Order will have the effect of temporarily prohibiting any vehicle from proceeding in the Market Place 6am-2.30pm on 6th June, 4th July, 1st Aug, 5thSept, 3rd Oct, 7th Nov, 5th Dec in 2026 and 6th Feb, 6th March, 3rd April, 1st May, 5th June, 3rdJuly, 7th Aug, 4th Sept, 2nd Oct in 2027. A diversion is not required.
