(PROHIBITION OF HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lincolnshire County Council propose to make an Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit heavy commercial vehicles (maximum weight 7.5 Tonnes) on Bolingbroke Road (link road between Brackenborough Road and Bolingbroke Road), Louth.
The Order will come into operation on 22nd May 2026 and a copy of the Order and a plan showing the lengths of road concerned with a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the offices of Lincolnshire County Council, Lancaster House, 36 Orchard Street, Lincoln, LN1 1XX.
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks after 18th May 2026 make application to the High Court for this purpose.
