What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BRINKLOW ROAD & COVENTRY ROAD, COOMBE FIELDS
Order Effect: A 30mph speed restriction will be imposed between West Lodge Retreat on Brinklow Road, Coombe Fields and Woodhill Farm, Coventry Road, Coombe Fields.
Reason for Order: The restrictions are required for the safety of all road users and of the participants in the Café Mambo — Coombe Abbey 2026.
Order Commences: 29 May 2026 for 2 days.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

MERIDEN ROAD, FILLONGLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable telegraph pole replacement.
Order Commences: 8 June 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 June 2026.
Access & Diversion: Meriden Road, Ousterne Lane, Coventry Road, Tamworth Road, Rock Lane, Tamworth Road Service Road, Hollyfast Lane, Long Lane, Coundon Wedge Drive, Holyhead Road, Pickford Way, Dunchurch Highway, Birmingham Road, Henry Bostock Road, Coventry Road, Maxstoke Lane, Fillongley Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
