THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT
(MOSELEY STREET, STOCKPORT) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING EXCEPT FOR CYCLES) NOTICE 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce a Prohibition of Driving Except for Cycles at Moseley Street, from its junction with Shaw Heath for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map, may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE.

Any person wishing to object to this proposed Order should write, specifying their grounds for objection, to the undersigned (or by email to traffic@stockport.gov.uk) on or before 10 June 2026 quoting reference JO/14958144/03.
