(PELHAM STREET) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they have made a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Pelham Street, to be closed westbound from the junction of Brompton Road to the junction of Old Brompton Road.
The Road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 1st June 2026 until 17.00hrs on Thursday 25th November 2027.
Diverted through traffic may use Fulham Road, Sydney Place, Onslow Square, Old Brompton Road, Pelham Street, or Brompton Road, Thurloe Place, Cromwell Place, Old Brompton Road, Pelham Street.
The Prohibited no right turn from Fulham Road into Sydney Place, is to be suspended for the duration of these works Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
- anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
- Anything done in connection with the execution of said works
