What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING
NOTICE OF INTENT TO CREATE A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER FOR PLANNED WORKS 
AFFECTING: COLVILLE ROAD & STIRLING ROAD, ACTON.

Ealing Council intends to make the following temporary traffic order under section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

Title of order
This order can be referred to as: Temporary traffic order for planned works - TT 5160 Colville Road & Stirling Road, Acton - 2026.

Reason for order
This order is needed to allow for works taking place on or near the road. These works involve HG Construction (the contractor) carrying out new development works in the area.

Effect of order
1. This order will prohibit waiting, loading or unloading.

2. Waiting, loading and unloading restrictions will be temporarily implemented at the following locations on Colville Road. 

3 parking bays on the eastern kerb line directly outside Lawsons timber, building & fence supplies. And one parking bay on Stirling Road on the southern kerb line 5 metres from the junction with Colville Road.

The waiting, loading or unloading of vehicles on the extent of Colville Road & Stirling Road, to which the prohibitions and restrictions apply at any time from 19th June 2026, will be enforced with the issue of a Penalty Charge Notice.

3. While the temporary restrictions are in place, displaced vehicles should follow the diversions displayed in place to reach their destinations and comply with any traffic management measures.

4. This Order does not apply to:
(a) anything done at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer (PCSO).
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance.

Date order will come into force. 19th June 2026

Maximum duration of order
This order will expire on 28th February 2027.
