ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

PETERHEAD - TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

“The Aberdeenshire Council (Peterhead – 25.05.26) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 25.05.26 for 18 months and will introduce the following traffic restrictions in Peterhead:

ROAD CLOSURE (FOR SHORT PERIODS AS AND WHEN REQUIRED)

James Street, Peterhead – Rose Street to Harbour Street. An alternative route is available via Jamaicia Street, Harbour Street

ONE WAY SYSTEM

Broad Street, Peterhead - Seagate to approximately No.63

PROHIBITION OF WAITING

Broad Street, Peterhead - No.59 to No.77 and No.40 to Rose Street

Rose Street, Peterhead - Broad Street to James Street

An alternative route is available via Broad Street, Longate, Ellis Street, Seagate
