TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (PAVILLION ROAD) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they have made a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Pavillion Road, to be closed at the junction of Herbert Crescent to outside 77 Pavillion Road.
The Road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Tuesday 26th May 2026 until 18.00hrs on Friday 29th May 2026, with backup dates of Monday 1st June 2026 until Wednesday 3rd June 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Pavillion Road, Hans Crescent, Sloane Street, Pont Street, Pavillion Road, or Pavillion Road, Herbert Crescent, Hans Place, Hans Street, Pavilion Road.
The One-way working of Pavilion Road, between the junctions of Herbert Crescent and Hans Street is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
- anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
- Anything done in connection with the execution of said
works.
