THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (HANS PLACE) 2026

The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intends to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.

Hans Place, to be closed from outside of number 37 to the junction of Hans Road.

The Road is to be closed to vehicles for crane works.

The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Tuesday 2nd June 2026 until 18.00hrs on Wednesday 3rd June 2026, with backup dates of Tuesday 16th June 2026 until Wednesday 17th June 2026.

Diverted through traffic may use Hans Place, Pont Street, Walton Street, Walton Place, Hans Road, Hans Place.

The One-way working of Hans Place, between the side of number 23 to number 37 Hans Place is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
- anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
- Anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
