RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council wedi gwneud Gorchymyn bydd yn gwahardd dros dro pob cerbyd, ac eithrio cerbydau argyfwng, rhag teithio mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd Lôn Pen Clegir, Gwalchmai. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn galluogi gwaith Dŵr Cymru - gosod cysylltiad newydd.

Y ffordd arall fydd o bwynt deheuol y cau ffordd. Teithiwch i gyfeiriad gorllewinol ar hyd yr A5 i groesffordd Treban, trowch i’r dde i’r B5112 a theithiwch i gyfeiriad gogleddol i’r gyffordd â’r B5109 yn Nhrefor. 

Yna trowch i’r dde a theithiwch i gyfeiriad dwyreiniol ar hyd y B5109 tuag at Llynfaes a throwch i’r dde i’r ffordd ddi-ddosbarth a elwir yn lleol yn Lôn Bodychen wrth Chwarel Gwyndy. 

Yna teithiwch i gyfeiriad deheuol ar hyd Lôn Bodychen i’r gyffordd â Lôn Pen Clegir, trowch i’r dde a theithiwch ar hyd Lôn Pen Clegir i gyfeiriad deheuol i ben gogleddol y cau ffordd. I’r gwrthwyneb i draffig sy’n teithio o’r cyfeiriad arall.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 26ain Mai 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 6 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 28ain Mai 2026.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1)
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991

CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
(LÔN PEN CLEGIR, GWALCHMAI) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council has made an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Lôn Pen Clegir, Gwalchmai.

The Order is necessary to enable Dŵr Cymru works - install new service connection.

The alternative route will be from the southern point of the road closure. Travel in a westerly direction along the A5 to the Treban crossroads, turn right onto the B5112 and travel in a northerly direction to the junction with the B5109 in Trefor. 

Then turn right and travel in an easterly direction along the B5109 towards Llynfaes and turn right onto the unclassified road known locally as Lôn Bodychen by Gwyndy Quarry. 

Then travel in a southerly direction along Lôn Bodychen to the junction with Lôn Pen Clegir, turn right and travel along Lôn Pen Clegir in a southerly direction to the northern end of the road closure. Vice versa for traffic travelling from the other direction.

The Order comes into effect on 26th May 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 28th May 2026.
