Ar yr 18 Mai 2026, cadarnhaodd Cyngor Castell-nedd Port Talbot y gorchymyn uchod, o dan Adran 119 o Ddeddf Priffyrdd 1980.

Bydd effaith y Gorchymyn, fel y’i cadarnhawyd, yn dargyfeirio’r llwybr cyhoeddus sy’n rhedeg o bwynt A (grid cyf. SS 8175,8519) drwy bwyntiau B, C, a D i bwynt E (grid cyf. SS 8202,8517).

Mae’r llwybr troed presennol yn rhedeg o bwynt A mewn cyfeiriad dwyreiniol yn gyffredinol ar hyd y trac mynediad tuag at Fferm Hirwaun, yn mynd drwy’r fferm a’i gardd i gyfeiriad y de-ddwyrain, yna’n gadael y fferm ac yn parhau tua’r de-ddwyrain i bwynt E, gyda chyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 354 metr.

Bydd y llwybr amgen yn dechrau ym mhwynt A (cyfeirnod grid SS 8175,8519) ac yn mynd i gyfeiriad deheuol yn gyffredinol i bwynt F (cyfeirnod grid SS 8175,8505), yna i’r dwyrain i bwynt G (cyfeirnod grid SS 8191,8506), cyn parhau i’r de-ddwyrain i bwynt E (cyfeirnod grid SS 8202,8500). Cyfanswm yr hyd yw tua 405 metr, a bydd yr wyneb yn naturiol.”

Bydd y llwybr amgen yn cynnwys giatiau ym Mhwyntiau A a G.

Fel y dangosir ar fap y gorchymyn.

Gellir gweld copi o’r gorchymyn a gadarnhawyd a map ohono yn swyddfeydd Canolfan Ddinesig Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Castell-nedd Port Talbot am ddim, rhwng 09.00am a 4.00pm, o Ddydd Llun i Ddydd Gwener. Gellir prynu copïau o’r gorchymyn a’r map yno am £1.00.

Daw’r gorchymyn hwn i rym ar 18 Mai 2026, ond os dymuna rhywun sy’n anghytuno â’r gorchymyn herio ei ddilysrwydd, neu ddilysrwydd unrhyw ddarpariaeth a geir ynddo, ar y sail nad yw o fewn grym Deddf Priffyrdd 1980, fel y’i diwygiwyd, neu ar y sail na chydymffurfiwyd ag unrhyw un o ofynion y Ddeddf honno, fel y’i diwygiwyd, neu na chydymffurfiwyd ag unrhyw reoliad a wnaed o dan y Ddeddf mewn perthynas â chadarnhau’r gorchymyn, caiff gyflwyno cais i’r Uchel Lys o dan Baragraff 2 Atodlen 2 y Ddeddf fel y’i cymhwyswyd gan Baragraff 5 Atodlen 6 y Ddeddf, o fewn 6 wythnos o 18 Mai 2026.

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
NEATH PORT TALBOT COUNCIL
FOOTPATH NO. 81, COMMUNITY OF PORT TALBOT

On the 18 May 2026 Neath Port Talbot Council confirmed the above order, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the Order, as confirmed, will divert the public footpath running from point A (grid ref. SS 8175,8519) through points B, C, and D to point E (grid ref. SS 8202,8517).

The existing footpath runs from point A in a generally easterly direction along the access track towards Hirwaun Farm, passes through the farm and its garden in a southeasterly direction, then exits the farm and continues southeastwards to point E, a total distance of approximately 354 metres

The alternative path will begin at point A (grid ref. SS 8175,8519) and run generally south to point F (grid ref. SS 8175,8505), then east to point G (grid ref. SS 8191,8506), before continuing southeast to point E (grid ref. SS 8202,8500). The total length is approximately 405 metres, and the surface will be natural.”

The alternative path will include a kissing gate at both Points A and G.

A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the offices of Neath Port Talbot Council, Civic Centre, Port Talbot between 09:00 and 16:00 on Monday to Friday.

Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.

This Order comes into force on the 18 May 2026, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 18 May 2026, make an application to the High Court.
