TAVERHAM AND DRAYTON – A1067 Fakenham Road from its junction with Cypress Close to its junction with Drayton Grove to facilitate carriageway surface dressing works from 16th May to 2nd June 2026 (may continue until 14th July 2026). Alternative route is via: A1067 Fakenham Road, A1270 Broadland Northway, A140 Holt Road/Cromer Road/Boundary Road, A1067 Drayton High Road/Fakenham Road (Horsham St. Faith and Newton St. Faith, Attlebridge, Hellesdon, Horsford, Taverham, Drayton). WESTON LONGVILLE – C172 Morton Lane from its junction with B1535 Weston Hall Road for 600m eastwards to facilitate overhead cabling works between 09:00 and 15:00 on 21st May 2026 (may continue until 2nd July 2026). Alternative route is via B1535 Weston Hall Road, Rectory Road, Honingham Road, Woodforde Close, Church Street, Marl Hill Road, Marl Hill, Morton Lane (Morton on the Hill, Weston Longville). ALPINGTON – U76373 Reeders Lane from its junction with U76372 Burgate Lane for 50m southwards to facilitate stop tap replacement works from 19th to 21st May 2026 (may continue until 2nd July 2026). CHEDGRAVE – U76342 Big Back Lane from its junction with C554 Norwich Road for 782m northwards to facilitate housing development construction works, the road will be temporarily subject to the imposition of a one-way system (northbound) and the effect of this is that vehicles will only be allowed to travel in a northwards direction from 1st June 2026 to 31st May 2030. Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council and this Order is made under s14(1) and s15(2) of the RTRA 1984.
CHEDGRAVE – U76332 Rectory Lane from its junction with C202 Langley Road to its junction with C554 Norwich Road to facilitate housing development construction works, the Road will be temporarily subject to the imposition of a one-way system (westbound) and the effect of this is that vehicles will only be allowed to travel in a westwards direction from 1st June 2026 to 31st May 2030. Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council and this Order is made under s14(1) and s15(2) of the RTRA 1984.
CHEDGRAVE – A) C384 Hardley Road/Lower Hardley Road from its junction with C202 Langley Road to its junction with U76331 Cross Stone Road; B) U76331 Cross Stone Road from its junction with C384 Lower Hardley Road to its junction with C384 Hardley Road to facilitate fibre network installation works from 19th to 22nd May 2026 (may continue until 3rd July 2026). GREAT ELLINGHAM – U33106 Stalland Common from its junction with C136 Hingham Road to its junction with U33107 Old Runway Lane to facilitate carriageway repairs from 18th to 22nd May 2026 (may continue until 3rd July 2026). Alternative route is via: Lynn Road, Stoke Road, A10 Stow Bardolph Bypass/Downham-Wimbotsham Bypass, Bexwell Road. Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by traffic of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT). Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
