What is happening?

Temporary Local Diversion of Public Right of Way Farnham Footpath 3

As part of the construction phase of Sizewell C nuclear power station, and the Two Village Bypass, footpath Farnham 3 Public Rights of Way (PRoW), will be closed on the section across the works area (TM36646 59780 to TM36792 59807) from the 26th May 2026 to the 26th May 2029.

This is to allow the construction of the Two Village Bypass. A signed diversion will be in place during the closure.

The land forms part of the construction area for the Two Village Bypass which was approved by the Sizewell C Development Consent Order (2022).

Temporary Local Closure of Public Right of Way Saxmundham 1 Footpath

As part of the construction phase of Sizewell C nuclear power station, and the Green Rail Route, footpath Saxmundham 1 Public Rights of Way (PRoW), will be closed for its full length (TM38604 63345 to TM39243 64104) from the 22nd May 2026 to the 1st June 2026.

This is to allow the construction of the Green Rail Route. Regrettably there is no alternative path. The land forms part of the construction area for the Green Rail Route which was approved by the Sizewell C Development Consent Order (2022).
