THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING)
(NORTH ROAD EAST/WINSTON AVENUE/JAMES STREET/WELBECK AVENUE/ DERRY AVENUE/GLEN PARK AVENUE/ SUTHERLAND PLACE/SUTHERLAND ROAD/ HOUNDISCOMBE ROAD/ELIZABETH PLACE/ ENDSLEIGH PLACE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council intend to make the above order
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected:
North Road East - westbound between Evelyn Place and Plymouth Train Station entrance (parking suspensions both sides of the carriageway)
Winston Avenue - for its entirety
James Street - from North Road East to rear of number 81
Welbeck Avenue - for its entirety
Derry avenue - for its entirety
Glen Park Avenue - from number 28 to Restormel Road
Sutherland Place - from Sutherland Road Lane West to
Sutherland Road
Sutherland Road - from Sutherland Place to North Road East
Houndiscombe Road - from St Lawrene Road to North Road East
Elizabeth Place - from Endsleigh Place to number 1
Endsleigh Place - for its entirety
From: 15th June 2026 for a maximum of 18 months
To: 28th August 2026
Times: 24hrs
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable phased gas main works
