Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BARTON TURF AND IRSTEAD – C403 School Road from 350m west of its junction with C403 Hall Road for 200m westwards to facilitate pole test works on 29th May 2026 (may continue until 10th July 2026). GREAT YARMOUTH – A) U60336 Stonecutters Way from its junction with U60466 Howard Street North to its junction with B1141 North Quay and B) B1141 North Quay from its junction with U60336 Stonecutters Way for 35m south-eastwards to facilitate ducting installation works between 20:00 and 06:00 from 27th to 30th May 2026 (may continue until 11th July 2026). HONING – U19231 The Street from its junction with C411 Ruston Road for 100m southwards to facilitate pole test works on 28th May 2026 (may continue until 9th July 2026). Alternative route is via: East Ruston Road, Dilham Road, The Common, The Street. The works promoter is Openreach.

HORSHAM AND NEWTON ST. FAITHS – Old Norwich Road from its junction with Spixworth Road for 352m southwards to facilitate footway reconstruction works from 25th May to 3rd July 2026 (may continue until 3rd January 2027). Alternative route is via: Crown Road, Church Street, West Lane, Blind Lane. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

HORSHAM AND NEWTON ST. FAITHS – 5R0460 The Hill FP5 from its junction with Old Norwich Road to its junction with Back Street to facilitate footway reconstruction works from 25th to 31st May 2026 (may continue until 12th July 2026). Alternative route is via: Back Street, Blind Lane, Old Norwich Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

MARTHAM – Rollesby Road/Martham Road from 35m south of its junction with U69727 Willow Way for 675m south-westwards to facilitate clearing and installing chamber and ducts for new network cabling works from 25th May to 15th June 2026 (may continue until 15th December 2026). Alternative route is via: Martham Road, A149 Main Road, Repps Road, Rollesby Road (Repps with Bastwick, Rollesby, Martham). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

THURSFORD – C318 Heath Plantation Lane from 240m west of its junction with A148 Holt Road for 50m westwards to facilitate replacement chamber and cover and frame works from 27th to 29th May 2026 (may continue until 10th July 2026). TUNSTEAD – B1150 Church Street from 55m south of its junction with U19066 Tunstead Road for 500m south-westwards to facilitate water connection works. The Road will be temporarily subject to a 40mph speed restriction from 26th to 29th May 2026 (may continue until 10th July 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

LODDON – A) C395 High Bungay Road from 20m south of its junction with C203 Kittens Lane for 60m northwards and B) C203 Kittens Lane from its junction with C395 High Bungay Road to its junction with U76490 Drury Lane to facilitate fibre network installation works, the Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and the Road B shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (westbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an eastwards and westwards direction from 25th to 29th May 2026 (may continue until 10th July 2026). PORINGLAND AND CAISTOR ST. EDMUND AND BIXLEY – C188 Stoke Road/Poringland Road from its junction with U78266 Old Mill Road to its junction with U78044 Chandler Road to facilitate drainage and carriageway repair works from 26th May to 1st June 2026 (may continue until 13th July 2026). Alternative route is via: Long Lane, Norwich Road, Stotesham Road, The Common, The Street, Chapel Lane, B1332 The Street, Stoke Road (Hove, Stoke Holy Cross, Shotesham, Poringland, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley). ROYDON – C880 Old High Road from 20m east of its junction with A1066 High Road for 60m eastwards to facilitate plane and surface works from 27th to 28th May 2026 (may continue until 9th July 2026). Alternative route is via: A1066 High Road/Stanley Road, B1077 Denmark Street, Roydon Road, Old High Road (Diss, Roydon). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council. NB: Access will be given to Manor Road up to the point of closure via Brewers Green.

SHELTON AND HARDWICK – U76046 The Street from 90m south of its joining with Shelton Footpath 14 for 30m southwards to facilitate carriageway repair works from 26th to 27th May 2026 (may continue until 8th July 2026). Alternative route is via: The Street, Common Road, Hall Lane. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

SWAFFHAM – A) U30027/10 Greenhoe Place from its junction with U33353 Haspalls Road for 367m southwards and B) U30027/20 Greenhoe Place from its junction with U30027/10 Greenhoe Place for 50m eastwards to facilitate footway maintenance works, Roads A and B will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over Roads A and B shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 26th May to 21st August 2026 (may continue until 21st February 2027). Alternative route is via: U30027/10 Greenhoe Place, U30028 Mill Farm Nurseries, U30029 Southlands, C44 Cley Road, U33353 Haspalls Road, U30027/10 Greenhoe Place. THURLTON – C387 Low Road from its junction with C385 Church Road for 415m north-eastwards to facilitate installation of a new fibre network from 26th May to 1st June 2026 (may continue until 13th July 2026). Alternative route is via: Low Road, North End, Yarmouth Road, Church Road (Haddiscoe, Thurlton). The works promoter is CityFibre Holdings Ltd.

NB: These works will take place in phases. Phase 1 affecting C387 Low Road from its junction with C385 Church Road to its junction with U76357 Tithebarn Lane, and Phase 2 affecting C387 Low Road from its junction with U76357 Tithebarn Lane for 195m northwards. Only one phase will be in operation at any one time.

WOODTON – C370 The Street from its junction with B1332 Norwich Road for 115m south-westwards to facilitate new fibre network installation works from 26th to 28th May 2026 (may continue until 9th July 2026). WYMONDHAM – U78416 Sheffield Road from its junction with U71017 Lime Tree Avenue for 800m westwards to facilitate surface dressing works from 26th to 27th May 2026 (may continue until 8th July 2026). SOUTHERY – B1160 Westgate Street from its junction with B1160 Feltwell Road for 765m south-westwards to facilitate surface dressing works from 29th May to 5th July 2026 (may continue until 5th January 2027). CROMER – A) Bond Street from 30m south of its junction with A149 Church Street for 30m southwards and

B) Bond Street from its junction with A149 Church Street to its junction with A149 Mount Street to facilitate new electrical service connection works. The Road A will be temporarily closed and Road B shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (northbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both a southbound and northbound direction, and traffic over the Road B shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload including in pre-existing parking bays from 18th to 22nd May 2026 (may continue until 3rd July 2026).
