What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
ENNERDALE/THOMAS CLARKSON WAY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Ennerdale and Thomas Clarkson Way, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during roundabout improvement and resurfacing works. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

The Order will take effect on 21st May 2026, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the improvement works will be completed between 21st May 2026 until 31st July 2026, and the resurfacing works will be completed between 6pm and 5am commencing 22nd October 2026 until 9th November 2026.

GREEN LANE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Green Lane, outside numbers 1 and 2, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during repair frame and cover causing noise pollution.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

The Order will come into effect 3rd June 2026 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9pm on 3rd June until 1am on 4th June 2026.

22ND AVENUE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along 22nd Avenue, outside number 2, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to install a new water connection.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 25th May 2026 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 5pm commencing 25th May 2026 until 5th June 2026.
