Howbeck Road, Arnold - Temporary Prohibitions Vehicles For Carriageway Resurfacing

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(HOWBECK ROAD, ARNOLD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2026 (G26-080)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Arnold in the Borough of Gedling. 

The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:

a. HOWBECK ROAD, ARNOLD - For its entire length

2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (both sides) (at all times) in the following length of road

a. HOWBECK ROAD, ARNOLD - For its entire length

3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above
road or roads will apply as follows:
From 20:00 hours, Monday 18th May 2026
Until 06:00 hours Saturday 30th May 2026 inclusive.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:

Coppice Road - Beechwood Road - Killisick Road and Vice
versa
The Order will come into force on Monday 18th May 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable Via East Midlands to carry out works to do carriageway resurfacing;
