What is happening?

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF C30 THE HOLLOW (DRYBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C30 The Hollow, from its junction with Batts Lane to its junction with Highview Road for a distance of approximately 420 metres.
The reason for the said closure and restriction is for drainage/kerbing works. There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works. The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 26th May 2026 until 29th May 2026 only or until the said works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400178 HAWSLEY
(LYDBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400178 Hawsley Road, from its junction with High Beech Road for a distance of approximately 110 metres in a northward’s direction.
The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed from 11th June 2026 until 12th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed,

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION C357 ROAD FROM SWANPOOL WOOD TO JUNCTION WITH ALMHOUSE ROAD
(NEWLAND PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C357 Road from Swanpool Wood to the junction with Almhouse Road from outside of the property known as ‘the Vicarage’ to outside of the property known as ‘Spout Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 180 metres.
The reason for the said closure and restriction is for drainage works. There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works. The said road is expected to be closed from 8th June 2026 until 12th June 2026 only.. TEMPORARY CLOSURE C25 AWRE ROAD (AWRE PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C25 Awre Road, from outside the property known as ‘Wisteria Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘The Brambles’ for a distance of approximately 90 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed from 08:30hrs on 8th June 2026 until 08:30hrs on 16th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. (WESTBURY ON SEVERN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400143 Church Lane Road, from outside the property known as ‘Severn Valley Woodworks’ to outside the property known as ‘Brimstone Farm’ for a distance of approximately 570 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for barrier maintenance works. The said road is expected to be closed from 23:00hrs on 8th June 2026 until 05:00hrs on 9th June 2026 only. Pedestrian access will not be maintained due to safety reasons.
