THE A66 TRUNK ROAD (THORNABY ROAD INTERCHANGE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in the Borough of Stockton-On-Tees, to enable horticulture works to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to start on Wednesday 20 May 2026 for 1 night, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.

The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the A66 eastbound entry slip road at Thornaby Road Interchange.

During the closure a suitably signed alternative route will be available.

Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).

The Order comes into force on 19 May 2026 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.

THE A66 TRUNK ROAD (TEESSIDE PARK) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in the Boroughs of Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees, to enable gully emptying and drainage works to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to start on Thursday 21 May 2026 for 1 night, or until completed, and will take place between 10pm and 6am.

The effect of the Notice will be to close the A66 westbound entry slip road at Teesside Park; during which a suitably signed alternative route will be available.

Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).

The Order comes into force on 20 May 2026 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.

THE A66 TRUNK ROAD (BOATHOUSE LANE INTERCHANGE TO THORNABY ROAD INTERCHANGE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in the Borough of Stockton-On-Tees, to enable horticulture and drainage works to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to start on Monday 18 May 2026 for 2 nights, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.

The effect of the Notice will be to close the A66 eastbound and westbound exit and entry slip roads at Boathouse Lane Interchange and Thornaby Road Interchange. During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available.

Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).

The Order comes into force on 17 May 2026 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
