(CELANDINE AVENUE, SALENDINE NOOK, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Celandine Avenue, Salendine Nook from a point outside property No. 41 to a point outside property no. 43 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Celandine Avenue, New Hey Road, Raw Nook Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 00:00 on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 and remain in force until 23:59 on 8 June 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(COTE LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cote Lane, Holmfirth from a point approximately 140 metres north of junction with Cloughfoot Lane and Greave Road to a point approximately 230 metres north of junction of Cloughfoot Lane and Greave Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Greave Road, Dunford Road, Choppards Bank Road, Cote Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 between 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MELLOR LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Mellor Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with Carr Lane to its junction with Edge End PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cliff Road, Green Gate Road, Greenfield Road, Black Sike Lane, Mellor Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday, 3 June 2026 between 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MIRY LANE, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Miry Lane, Thongsbridge from a point approximately 100 metres north of junction with St Marys Road to a point approximately 80 metres south of junction with Oldfield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Miry Lane, Dean Brook Road, Upper Hagg Road, Oldfield Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday, 3 June 2026 between 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WINNEY BANK LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 3) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Winney Bank Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with Cliff Road to a point outside property no. 3 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Stake Lane Bank, Cinder Hills Road, Sandy Gate, Paris Road, St George’s Road, Totties Lane, Fearnley Lane, the unaffected length of Winney Bank Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 4 June 2026 between 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FIELD END LANE, HOLMBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Field End Lane, Holmbridge from its junction with Roods Lane to a point outside property “Four Views” PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Roods Lane, Flush House Lane, Acres Lane, Green Gate Road, Greenfield Road, Woodhead Road, Field End Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 4 June 2026 between 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(UN-NAMED ROAD BETWEEN WOODHEAD ROAD/FAR END LANE, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of un-named road between Woodhead Road/Far End Lane from street light no. 5 on Far End Lane to junction of Woodhead Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Woodhead Road, Far End Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Friday, 5 June 2026 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(KILN BENT ROAD, HOLME, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Kiln Bent Road, Holme, Holmfirth from its junction with Holme Wood Lane to its junction with Brownhill Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Brownhill Lane, Bank Lane, Woodhead Road, Rake Head Road, Holmes Wood Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 1 June 2026 and remain in force until 5 June 2026 between 07:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(DOBB TOP ROAD, HOLMBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dobb Top Road, Holmbridge, Holmfirth from its junction with Hollin Brigg Lane to a point outside property no. 22 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dobb Lane, Ford Gate, Co-op Lane, Woodhead Road, Bank Lane, Smithy Lane, Dobb Top Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 1 June 2026 between 09:00 hours and 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ST ANDREW’S ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 3) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of St Andrew’s Road, Huddersfield from its junction with Turnbridge Road to its junction with Croset Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:- Clockwise - via Wakefield Road, Firth Street, Kings Bridge Road, Colne Road, Queen Street South, back onto Firth Street, Wakefield Road, Southgate, Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Gasworks Street, St Andrew’s Road; Anti-Clockwise - via the unaffected length of St Andrew’s Road, Gasworks Street, Leeds Road, Southgate, Wakefield Road, St Andrew’s Road It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 and remain in force until 20 June 2026 between 22:00 hours and 06:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PARKWOOD ROAD, LONGWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Parkwood Road, Longwood from a point outside Huddersfield Kidist Kidane Mhret to a point outside property No. 9 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Parkwood Road, Grove Street, Stoney Lane, Leymoor Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday, 21 May 2026 and remain in force until 26 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ROYDS AVENUE, LINTHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Royds Avenue, Linthwaite from a point to side of 19 Royds View to its junction with Royds View PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Royds Avenue, Hoyle Ing.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 00:00 hours on Monday, 18 May 2026 and remain in force until 23:59 hours only 22 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ACCESS SIDE OF 75 SWAN LANE TO SIDE OF 36 DEVONSHIRE STREET REAR OF 49 BENTLEY STREET, LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of access side of 75 Swan Lane to side of 36 Devonshire Street, rear of 49 Bentley Street, Lockwood from its junction with Devonshire Street to a point outside property No. 37 Bentley Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(HALL ING LANE, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hall Ing Lane, Honley, Holmfirth from a point outside property no. 87 to a point outside property no. 126 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Hall Ing Lane, Brockholes Lane, New Mill Road, Smithy Place Lane, Gynn Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 20 May 2026 and remain in force until 21 May 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(DAM HILL, SHELLEY/BIRKS LANE, STOCKSMOOR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Shelley/ Stocksmoor as follows:-

Dam Hill - from its junction with Thunder Bridge Lane to its junction with Penistone Road Birks Lane - from its junction with Thunder Bridge Lane to its junction with Station Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:- Dam Hill - via Penistone Road, Thunderbridge Lane and vice versa.

Birks Lane - via Stocksmoor Lane, Brown’s Knoll Road, Town Moor, The Village, Thurstonland Bank Road, New Mill Road, Huddersfield Road, Penistone Road, Holmfirth Road, Lane Head Road, Abbey Road South, Abbey Road North, Abbey Road, Penistone Road, Dam Hill Road and vice versa.

The closure commenced on Monday, 23 February 2026 and remain in force until 12 June 2026 in two phases has been extended to remain in force until 31 July 2026:-

Dam Hill - between 23 February 2026 and 29 May 2026

Birks Lane - between 7 May 2026 and 31 July 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEYMOOR ROAD, GOLCAR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Leymoor Road, Golcar at a point near property no. 246 near junction of Vinyard PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Leymoor Road, Sycamore Avenue, Scar Lane, Knowl Road, Church Street, Town End and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 21:00 hours on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 and remain in force until 01:00 hours on 3 June 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(NEW LANE, SCAMMONDEN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of New Lane, Scammonden from its a point outside entrance of Car Park on New Lane to its junction with Saddleworth Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of New Lane, Sledge Gate, Old House Lane, Green Slacks Lane, O’cot Lane, New Hey Road, Saddleworth Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 1 June 2026 and remain in force until 12 June 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
