What is happening?

(B7076 GLASGOW ROAD, GRETNA) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the B7076 Glasgow Road A75(T) Overbridge from 09:30 on 03/07/26 to 18:00 on 14th July 2026. The closure is necessary to facilitate re-waterproofing and surfacing of the bridge structure. Alternative vehicle and pedestrian routes are available as signposted on site. Works will start on the structure on 25/05/26 with individual footway closures, access provided until above closure. During this time A75(T) slip roads will also be closed. Alternative routes as signposted on site.

(DUMFRIES GUID NYCHBURRIS FESTIVAL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close roads around Dumfries to accommodate Guid Nychburris ride out events between 22/5/26 and 20/6/26. Drivers should expect minor delays for the duration of these events. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Full details are available on www.dumgal.gov.uk or www.TellMeScotland.gov.uk
