Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Jackson Road commencing from its junction with Newport Road and continuing to its junction with Holbrook Lane.
The Order will come into effect on 00:01 hours on Saturday 16th May 2026 and is required to rebuild a Sluice valve chamber on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Sunday 17th May 2026.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a)
anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b)
emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c)
any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d)
local vehicular access to Jackson Road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Tomson Avenue commencing at its junction with Radford Circle and continuing to its junction with Randle Street.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 18th May 2026 and is required to enable new water connection works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 22nd May 2026.

FOLESHILL ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Foleshill Road commencing at its junction with Lockhurst Lane and continuing to its junction with Pridmore Road.
The Order will come into effect from 09:00 hours on Sunday 17th May 2026 and is required to enable a manhole cover and frame to be repaired safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 16:00 hours on Sunday 17th May 2026.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a)
anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b)

TEMPORARY PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY/FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY BREDON AVENUE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be a closure of the length of footpath detailed in the Schedule below (when appropriate signage is in place).
The Order will come into operation at 00:01 hours on Thursday 21st May 2026 and is required to allow Cadent Gas to safely renew apparatus.
The maximum duration of this Order is six (6) months but it is expected that the works will be completed by Thursday 4th June 2026.
Closure times would be as signed on site.
Any alternative route for pedestrians would be sign posted on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:-
(a)
anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Cromwell Lane commencing at its junction with Copt Oak Close and continuing to its junction with Westwood Heath Road.
The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Wednesday 27th May 2026 and is required to allow BT to safely install new ducting to a new development.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 29th May 2026.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from entering Green Lane commencing at its junction with Bathway Road and continuing to its junction with Poolside Gardens.
The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Tuesday 26th May 2026 and is required to enable National Grid to safely install cable and ducting.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Saturday 30th May 2026.

The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Friday 29th May 2026 and is required to enable National Rail to carry out trainline maintenance works safely.

PROJECT 79 2026, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from:-
Entering or proceeding along the full lengths of Cuckoo Lane, Bailey Lane, St Michaels Avenue and Priory Street; and Waiting, loading / unloading, or proceeding along the full lengths of Cuckoo Lane, Bailey Lane, St Michaels Avenue and Priory Street.
The Order would come into effect at 08:00 hours on Tuesday 26th May 2026. The Order is required for the purposes of public safety and to enable the filming of Project 79 to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said filming completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the filming would be completed by 00.00 hours on Saturday 30th May 2026.
