(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 13/11/25 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any users from proceeding along the section of Public Bridleway No. 95 from Hyde Lane to its junction with the A458 for approximately 3.5 km The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the unsafe condition of the bridle bridge and subsequent works required. No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 17/11/25 and has been extended for a further period of twelve months, until 16/5/27 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.
