The County Council of Durham (William Armstrong Way, Net Park, Sedgefield) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026
The Council on 8/5/2026 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following length of road. The northern section of William Armstrong Way extending north from the roundabout junction with Rosalind Franklin Way, Net Park, Sedgefield to enable new business park development works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to traffic during the closure period. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 18/05/2026 for a maximum period of up to 18 months. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
