Dunkirk Road, Southampton - Proposed No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions

PUBLIC NOTICE

THE CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON

(STATIC RESTRICTIONS) (WEST) (AMENDMENT 10) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL proposes to make the above order, the effects of which would be:

1. To introduce no waiting at any time restrictions in Dunkirk Road, both sides, for the full length of the layby area opposite 54 - 62 Dunkirk Road. This would replace the existing Monday - Friday, 8am – 6pm: Permit holders or limited waiting restrictions.

Note: it is intended for the layby to be filled in as part of works supporting the construction of the new Sports Centre car park.

Copies of the draft order, relevant map and statement of reasons for proposing can be viewed on the Councils website: https://transport.southampton.gov.uk/TRO or may be inspected Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm at Gateway in the Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY.

Any person wishing to object or make any other representation relating to this order must do so in writing via the Councils website: https://transport.southampton.gov.uk/TRO or by post to the Traffic Regulation Team at Balfour Beatty Living Places, City Depot, First Avenue, Southampton SO15 0LJ quoting the order title and, where objecting, stating the grounds for the objection, within 21 days of the date of this notice (i.e. by 5th June 2026).

Please note that all representations submitted, including the name and address of the person submitting it, may be made available for public inspection.
